3e journée des Etats généraux des transports publics
Le Fonds de Développement des Transports terrestres (FDTT) a participé à l’atelier dont le thème est : « Faire du renouvellement du parc de transport public le levier de l’industrialisation automobile ». Le débat a porté sur la vétusté du parc automobile et l’insécurité routière que cela implique. Un consensus fort sur la nécessité du rajeunissement du parc et l’opérationnalisation du FDTT est ressorti des débats. Par ailleurs, un rappel des accords obtenus lors des séminaires préparatoires a fait ressortir le rôle primordial de l’Etat pour une meilleure réglementation en vue de l’organisation optimale du secteur.
Audit panel, le Secrétaire général, M. Ousmane Niébé Diop, a représenté l’Administrateur du FDTT, M. Bara Sow, apportant ainsi des éclairages et d’autres informations, à la suite des interventions d’acteurs des transports publics. Son discours a porté essentiellement sur la mission du FDTT et sur l’éligibilité à la garantie accordée par le Fonds, en vue de la modernisation du système de transport, notamment du renouvellement des véhicules de transport public. A ce panel, Mme Aissatou Cissé, Directrice technique, a été désignée rapporteuse.
